I like to put this on before I have to get my hands with eczema wet, or shower, and it helps in the healing of my eczema, though doesn't prevent the itching (severe case) and in a severe case it's not enough /for me/ but it helps.

I love this ointment. I have sensitive skin. If I scratch myself, usually red raised marks follow. I also have scabs where I have repeatedly scratched an area especially in my sleep in bed leaving bleeding sores. I have very little if any hair on my legs or arms. I haven't shaved my legs in many years. Therefore, the skin on my legs is exceedingly dry. I tend to use simple emollient lotions on my legs and arms after my shower every day. They are usually lotions and creams approved by the eczema society. I put your thick ointment on at night to help heal those areas that have scratches and/or sores. It eases the itching and allows the sores to heal. I have been buying this ointment for a long time. We have a home in Houston and one in L.A, and I have a tube in each of those places. Because it is 50% petroleum jelly, it is too thick to put all over my legs and arms. So, I spot treat the aggravated skin. I also love your lip balm and use it every night. It stays on better than anything else that I have tried. I use both your lip balm and the less effective aquaphore which I also buy. I have suffered from Eczema in the past and have learned a way to rid myself of it that is easy and safe. I had eczema all over my legs when during a family trip to Israel, I soaked in the stinky Dead Sea. The day after my 20-minute soak, half my eczema was gone. I asked my dermatologist father how to recreate the hypersalinic solution in my tub at home without the expense of the costly Dead Sea salts sold all over Israel. I would need 4 jars to make such a hypersalin solution for just one bath. He told me to try ordinary table salt, ice cream salt or kosher salt. I poured salt all over the bottom of my tub and added a comfortable temperature of warm water. I added more salt until no more could go into solution and a light layer sat on the bottom of the tub. I soaked for 10 to 20 minutes then rinsed off in the shower. After 3 baths in this hypersalinic solution, my eczema was gone. I now keep an acrylic pitcher of salt on my bath deck in case it ever comes back. One could also scrub with salt in the shower to keep it at bay. I understand that dermatologists now recommend bleach baths or vinegar baths for the same purpose. The hypersalinic solution worked and continues to work for me. I wish someone had told me about this simple and safe solution years ago when I was in my teens and 20's. I will always use some of Cheryl Lee's products as they are good quality. One common allergen that gives me hives is lanolin. Until cosmetic and makeup manufacturers were required to list the ingredients in their products fully 90% contained lanolin. It is a ubiquitous emollient very similar to human sebum. I could not wear foundation, and I found creams like lubriderm and nivea itchy b/c at the time both contained lanolin. Now few contain lanolin, and I can use many of the common creams, lotions and foundations sold at drug stores and department stores. Because I am fair, many of the foundations in my color contain enough zinc oxide or titanium dioxide that they are sun blocks for me. It is easy to see where I have missed a spot and a full coverage foundation on my face often works better than sunblock. I saw this after a trip to Puerto Rico when my sunblock covered arms and chests exposed on the roll down window side of the car were sunburned and my even more exposed face had no tan and no burn. I wasn't wearing sun block on my face. However, I was wearing Almay's powder cream foundation makeup. The compact of cream foundation only came in 4 colors, all of them for light skinned people. I love the Cheryl Lee products I buy and highly recommend them. I sent my sister a tube of your lip balm to try. She liked it too. There is a similar lip balm material sold in a jar at Sephora, but it is harder to apply. I received it as a free sample. I love the applicator tube of lip balm that you sell.

Perfect Lipid Protection

I have an autoimmune disease called Lichen Sclerosus. This causes the already super sensitive skin of my vulva to become chronically inflammed and it cracks and even bleeds. I was desperate for soothing help and through my research found Cheryl Lee Md. The Perfect and Protect ointment is exactly what I needed to give me protection and comfort. I have been a repeat customer for a year and plan to be for many more. The only downside is for people with chronic conditions who need it every day without exception it is cost prohibitive unless you buy it during a great sale. Then you must buy enough to last until the next one. I highly recommend this product if you can afford it.

miracle!

This ointment is great. My girls have severe eczema and we have tried every known moisturizer and none compare to this ointment. The relieve and protect ointment really and truly keeps them moisturized for longer. Their skin feels as close to normal as it has ever felt because of this ointment. We love it!!
